This individual will play a crucial role in providing financial and tax-related services to our clients, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and delivering top-notch customer service. The Senior Tax Preparer will handle complex tax returns, provide tax planning and advisory services, and assist in the resolution of tax-related issues. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
• Conduct thorough, accurate tax-related research.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.
• Assist in the resolution of tax-related issues and disputes.
• Utilize tax software and applications proficiently, particularly Quickbooks and Lacerte.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Deliver excellent customer service, addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
• Provide training and guidance to junior tax preparers as needed.
• Ensure strict confidentiality of client information.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax preparation.
  • Proficient in tax software applications, particularly Quickbooks and Lacerte.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is a plus.
