Salary: $200,000 - $230,000 per year A bit about us: Nationally ranked civil litigation firm is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Finance to oversee all financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and long-term planning. This role will lead a 30 person team and work closely with executive leadership to align financial strategy with firm-wide objectives. Why join us? Lead the financial vision of a firm that values both innovation and stability Drive meaningful operational impact with executive-level visibility Join a team-oriented environment that supports leadership development Competitive compensation with a comprehensive benefits offering Job Details Job Duties: Lead finance and accounting functions: GL accounting, reporting, AP, budgeting, treasury, audit, and cash flow Oversee monthly and year-end close; ensure accuracy of financial statements and internal reporting Manage firm-wide budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking; conduct variance analyses Maintain general ledger integrity and develop internal controls and financial policies Partner with external tax accountants; oversee preparation of tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance Collaborate with Payroll/Benefits and COO/CFO to ensure timely and accurate partner compensation Analyze financial performance and recommend process or technology improvements Manage vendor and banking relationships; represent firm interests in external financial matters Mentor and develop a high-performing team aligned with firm goals and culture Foster cross-department collaboration and build strong internal partnerships Job Requirements: 10 years of finance leadership experience in a law firm, professional services, or similar industry Proven expertise in accounting operations, budgeting, cash flow, and reporting CPA required; MBA or advanced degree preferred Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and business judgment skills Experience implementing financial systems and driving operational improvements Exceptional communication and leadership abilities; effective at all organizational levels Interested in hearing more?
