Job Description Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently hiring a Controller to join our client in Poway, CA. This direct hire opportunity is fully onsite. The Controller will be responsible for analyzing financial statements, conducting comprehensive financial analysis, overseeing the budgeting processes, developing forecasts, managing junior accounting staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. This role requires ERP experience and exceptional analytical skills. Responsibilities: · Manage two direct reports, including mentoring and providing guidance for best practices and professional development · Ensure compliance with regulations, internal controls, and GAAP standards · Develop accurate forecasts for financial performance · Prepare and analyze financial statements · Perform account analysis · Prepare governmental accounting reports · Manage budgeting processes Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent certification preferred · ERP experience required - i.e.: SAP, Oracle, Macola · Ability to manage two direct reports · Comfortable working for a rapidly growing company · Strong knowledge of GAAP principles · Proficiency in Excel and accounting software · Strong understanding of financial concepts and metrics · Exceptional analytical skills Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, life & disability insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Employee Assistance Program, pet insurance, identity theft protection, company profit sharing, and discretionary annual bonus.
