Job Description:
Thrive with Volt Volt is seeking a Expediter/ Coordinator in
Garden Grove, CA. The Expediter/ Coordinator will: Serve as our
Outside Processing Expediter & Coordinator. This position plays a
critical role in managing the lifecycle of outside processing
orders, from planning and purchase order creation through to
supplier handoff and internal staging. The successful candidate
will ensure smooth coordination between planning, purchasing,
operations, quality, and a select group of outside suppliers.
-Review planning and work orders from Planners and the Machine
Shop. -Create and batch purchase orders for outside processing to
designated suppliers. -Build and maintain strong, consistent
communication with each supplier to ensure on-time processing and
delivery. -Deliver orders to the operations staging area with
correct documentation affixed to each package. -Provide the
remaining documentation to the Receiving Quality Inspector to
support inspection and receiving processes. -Serve as a
communication hub among Buyers, Demand Managers, Program Managers,
and Operations personnel. -Use ERP software to manage orders and
update status accurately. -Monitor supplier performance and
escalate potential delays or issues. This is a fully on-site 3
month contract opportunity in Garden Grove, CA. The right candidate
will have: -Strong verbal and written communication skills (email
and phone). -Administrative and organizational strength with a
detail-oriented mindset. -Experience with ERP systems (preferred).
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and typing speed of at least 35
WPM. -A positive, professional attitude with a “first-day of the
job” mentality. -Able to adapt quickly, solve problems in
real-time, and maintain a sense of urgency. -Previous experience in
manufacturing, supply chain, or supplier management is a plus.
-High school diploma required; AA or BA degree preferred. -Typing
skills: minimum of 35 words per minute. -Proficiency in Microsoft
Excel at a beginner level or above. -Strong writing and
communication skills. -Able to work independently as a self-starter
and also effectively as part of a team. Pay rate: $21.00/hr *Pay
rate offered to a successful candidate will be based on several
factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work
