Job Title: Purchasing Manager – Lumber & Building Materials Job
Type: Full-Time | Onsite | Exempt About Us: We’re a privately held
company specializing in the sale of lumber and forest products for
multi-family, commercial, and residential construction projects.
With operations across the U.S., we support our customers through
local branches, yards, and a remanufacturing facility. What You’ll
Do: Purchase lumber and building materials from mills and suppliers
Manage inventory levels and accuracy across multiple branch
locations Build vendor relationships and attend site visits and
industry events Provide market insights, pricing updates, and
weekly reports Coordinate with sales, logistics, and operations for
smooth delivery and fulfillment Monitor trends, pricing, and demand
to drive profitable purchasing decisions What We’re Looking For: 7
years of purchasing experience in the lumber commodity industry
Strong relationships with mills and suppliers preferred Excellent
communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Proficiency
in Microsoft Office; ERP/industry software experience a plus
Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
Knowledge of multi-family and commercial construction supply needs
