Requirements / Qualifications Requirements / Qualifications Eligibility for a Designated Subject Career Technical Education (CTE) teaching credential by having at least three (3) years of recent industry experience in the related field. Questions about CTE and Adult Education credentialing can be found at the following site: subject-credentials/Pages/CTELanding.aspx All VAS Instructors will need to be credentialed by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. First time instructors have up to three years to complete this credential. You will be matched with a mentor teacher at Vista Adult School to assist in understanding teaching adults and the classroom enviornment. Your success is our success! Please attach the following: Resume Letter of Interest/Introduction -Attn: Rachel D'Ambroso Asst.
