• Familiar with Building management systems (BMS), Lighting Management system (LMS) and other automated tools and applications to ensure operational efficiencies and energy improvements.
• Candidate should have a capability to read alerts & trends, data extraction, review and analysis of the data, appropriate quick actions on the alerts from the BMS, LMS and IOT applications.
• Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP's) and Sequence of Operations and maintenance standards to be in compliance with Digital Realty's standards and industry best practices.
• Remote monitoring of BMS, LMS etc---. Check routinely for correct operation of all equipment in locations that include BMS control of systems.
• Thorough Experience in understanding on IO point summery & its configuration.
• Monitor & control of building HVAC control systems using the BMS to monitor performance for better use experience.
• To ensure that the system continues to perform all its intended functions, all of the required configuration data should be backed-up and initialization procedures should be carried out as and when there is setting change to obtain the latest records
• Knowledge on the BMS Alarm system procedure is to acknowledge and follow-up on any alarms within the premises to prevent interruption to the Client operation.
• The BMS engineer should be capable to monitor and support PAN India sites BMS & LMS operations & assist local site engineers on the alarms and deviations in the system on timely manner for the required corrections at site to maintain comfort environment.
• He/she should have a skills on adjusting control parameters (e.g. -set-points, alarm limits, tolerances, time delays) in order to -achieve the desired condition in each room.
• Should have a reporting knowledge on the BMS, LMS to extract the trends, analytics, data from the system. Data analysis and corrective steps to be taken to reduce the consumption in energy and water.
• Fault diagnosis and rectification in the BMS.
• Candidate should be capable to identify potential systems software and hardware issues that may lead to unnecessary failure of services, thereby minimizing risk, disruption and inconvenience.
• Track on the timely upgradation of the software and renewals.
• To have a capability to understand the of early warning of system performance and process deviations.
• Should be capable to take required corrective strategies when stability factors go outside the specification.
• Secure management and storage of environmental data and audit trails.
• Effective energy and water management with efficient BMS monitoring.
• Should have a knowledge on the troubleshooting techniques in the BMS.Sound like you? To apply, you need to be:EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Preferably BE/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical engineering with 4-5 years experience in Building Management Systems, LMS and other IOT tools. Basic knowledge of HVAC system and Electrical works Mandatory.
  • Extensive operational knowledge on BMS, LMS and Digital controls.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with both internal and external customers.
  • Strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills in BMS and IOT.
  • Clear command of English - Speak and Write
  • Familiarity of local/national regulatory codes, guidelines, and permit processes.
  • Excellent skillset with Excel - Trends & data analysis, pivot charts and formula automations.
