General Responsibilities TrueLife Recovery (TLR) is a trauma informed adolescent outpatient substance abuse and co-occurring treatment program serving North County San Diego. The Program Manager must have 1 year of experience working in SUD treatment, and must either be a BBS-registered clinician or be a Certified SUD Counselor. Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services, the TrueLife Recovery Program Manager supervises the TrueLife Program staff and operations to ensure compliance with the County of San Diego, State of California, DHCS and serves as liaison between TLR and other Lifeline programs and community collaborators.. Required Education and Experience At least one year experience in the SUD system required. Qualifying credential required (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, AMFT, ACSW, APCC, or Certified SUD Counselor). Two years post licensure preferred but not required. Outstanding supervisory and training skills. Demonstrated experience in overseeing program and policy development, implementation and operations. Excellent organizational, clinical, and communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge, training, and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Interventions, DBT, Seeking Safety, or TF-CBT Approach preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Establish and maintains effective working relationships while showing open mindedness and a collaborative spirit. Ability to work well independently and demonstrate appropriate initiative. Must demonstrate knowledge of trauma Informed, client driven, and culturally competent care. Other Requirements Reliable transportation. Must have a California driver license and good driving record. Willing to use own, properly insured, reliable vehicle for the job (mileage reimbursed). Employment subject to clearances, including background finger printing checks, driving record, tuberculosis testing, and drug testing. Specific Activities Be available during regular business hours and respond to emails, telephone calls, and other correspondence from the COR or designee within two business days. Notify the COR or designee if absent from the program for more than two business days and provide an alternate contact for program coverage. Develops, supervises, and maintains systems and procedures that encourage and support a client-centered, culturally competent, strengths-based and trauma-informed service model that ensures individualized services for clients including treatment for identified co-occurring disorders. Monitors staff productivity and completes performance evaluations for TLR staff. Ensures adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertakes disciplinary actions if the need arises. Works with County staff, COR, School Districts, Probation, and other referral sources and linkage agencies to coordinate TLR client services. Serves as liaison between TLR and other Lifeline programs to promote in-house program coordination. Responsible in coordination with Human Resources for recruitment, hiring, training of all TLR staff. Provide weekly supervision for TLR staff and interns. Sets parameters for documentation requirements of program demographic and outcome data in accordance with all applicable guidelines, including the SUDPOH Handbook. Evaluates and supervises outcome achievement of TLR staff on a weekly basis and assures successful completion of goals. Facilitates program meetings and provides individual supervision to TLR staff on a consistent basis. Supervises the facilitation of OS and IOS treatment, Prosocial Activities, Recovery Services, Early Intervention services, and all other center and community-based activities, providing direction for program staff. Maintains statistics, completes Quarterly Status Reports, Staffing Status Report, and meets all other TLR reporting requirements. Works closely with the Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure program compliance with the Quality Assurance Review process. Including file reviews, documentation of assessment and intake, case management, progress notes, treatment planning and goal setting, and discharge planning, Resolves programmatic issues as identified by TLR staff. Spend at least 50% of time on management and administrative (non-clinical) duties and may facilitate center-based groups and or provide other direct counseling services as needed. Attend community, agency, and collaborative meetings. Works closely with the Administrative Coordinator to ensure accuracy in TLR billing. Participates as a member of Lifeline's Management Team. Participates as a member of the TLR Multidisciplinary Team. Completes all other duties as assigned. Employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The employee will be required to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer. Work Schedule Full-time, 40 hours/week.
