Summary: The Tap Room Manager will be focused on creating a beer-centric experience and providing friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and exceptional service for guests. This position will manage all Bar Staff in their job duties and ensure the Tap Room operations run smoothly and to the fullest Pure Project standards and expectations.The Tap Room Manager reports to the Director of Retails Operations. The position is full-time, 40 hours/week, generally from Tuesday through Saturday. Must be available on evenings, weekends & holidays.Responsibilities:TapRoom Operations

  • Responsible for all aspects of day-to-day Tap Room operations and revenue generation.
    • Responsible for creating weekly line-ups for Team Members to be well informed of company and Tap Room updates and releases.
      • Ensure consistent stocking of kegs, supplies, and/or packaged products for sale to guests.
        • Ensure proper and constant sanitation and cleanliness, and detail up to Pure Project Standards in the Tap Room and surrounding areas.
          • Forecast draft & retail needs of the Tap Room for proper ordering of those goods.
            • Review P&L's monthly to improve and streamline cost efficiency.
              • Maintain Labor Par Goals to keep Tap Room properly staffed and profitable.
                • Review weekly cash drops and deposits to the bank. Create change for tasting room cash drawers.
                  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to increase efficiency throughout all aspects of the Tap Room.
                    • Follow and improve existing checklists and SOPs using Google Suite. Ensure all staff is using up-to-date documentation.
                      • Manage inventory and participate in merchandise placement to forecast inventory needs and meet sales goals.
                        • Tap Room point of contact for POS questions and adjustments.
                          • Service any needed equipment on a regular basis such as cold box, crowler machine, slushie machine, dishwashers, bottle fridge, etc.
                            • Complete various maintenance and repairs, and coordinate with Team Members, AGMs and Shift Supervisors on significant repair issues and needs.
                              • Build & Maintain vendor relationships for all facility maintenance needs.
                                • Coordinate scheduling of onsite food trucks and vendors.
                                  • Analyze trends on visitors, events, beer, food, and merchandise.
                                    • Brainstorm new ways, tactics, events to increase sales and brand awareness.
                                      • As needed, provide support to Bar Staff in the performance of essential job functions. Ensure they have appropriate resources to complete essential job duties.Customer Service & Events
                                        • Maintain a welcoming, educational, exciting, and inviting experience for all guests. Monitor guest relations and serve as the point contact for guest complaints and/or special needs.
                                          • Engage guests in conversations, creating regulars, and maximizing the customer experience. Respond promptly and appropriately to all guest requests and concerns.
                                            • Maintain the highest level of customer service and professionalism with guests, management, and co-workers. Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and assist as needed with ensuring all shifts are appropriately staffed.
                                              • Participate in events planning and support, manage resources and contribute to the creation of special events and promotions.
                                                • Work with Marketing to promote tasting room events, community events, and specials to help increase the flow of traffic to the location.Leadership and Education
                                                  • Manage staff schedules for the Bar Staff.
                                                    • Review all time clocks weekly for payroll.
                                                      • Provide mentorship and constant communication for AGM & Shift Supervisor(s), as well as bar staff to promote growth and desired work ethic.
                                                        • Manage Bar Staff in performance of essential job functions, including ensuring staff follows company policy, procedures, sanitation, and cleanliness requirements.
                                                          • Educate all team members and guests about the staple and seasonal brews available, the history and culture of the brewery and the craft beer industry, and the differences between styles.
                                                            • Maintain full knowledge of recipes and other pertinent information about staple and seasonal brews being served.
                                                              • Constantly work to increase knowledge of craft beer and beverages, including attending training and meetings put on by brewery management and/or related craft beer associations and brewers.
                                                                • Listen to needs and feedback of Bar Staff and leadership staff and address any and all issues.
                                                                  • Constantly promote a positive and healthy work environment for all Team Members.
                                                                    • Assist HR in recruiting future Tap Room Team Members.
                                                                      • Manage Tap Room HR objectives with training, coaching, and/or counseling Team Members on job expectations and completion of essential job functions.Qualifications
                                                                        • Must be at least 21 years of age.
                                                                          • At least 2 years of management experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
                                                                            • Proficiency in department budgeting and labor efficiency.
                                                                              • Reading and understanding provident and law documents.
                                                                                • Proven record of creating strategies to increase revenue.
                                                                                  • Possess demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
                                                                                    • Possess and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.
                                                                                      • Possess and demonstrate excellent conflict resolution skills.
                                                                                        • Possess basic math skills and excellent cash handling skills.
                                                                                          • Superior knowledge of beer and the craft beer industry.
                                                                                            • Possess strong knowledge and enforcement of ABC laws.
                                                                                              • Possess awareness of local, state, and federal health and sanitation laws.
                                                                                                • Able to communicate effectively through verbal, written, and tech-based platforms.
                                                                                                  • Able to lift heavy objects (25 - 50 lbs.) on a continual basis. Able to transport up to 162 lbs. (full - bbl keg) without assistance and use the correct lifting techniques. Able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for up to 8 hours per shift. Able to work in crowded and confined spaces.
                                                                                                    • Able to operate or able to quickly operate POS system.
                                                                                                      • Efficient in Google suits and familiar with inventory management platforms.
                                                                                                        • Able to maintain excellent customer service and professional appearance suitable for guest interaction while working under pressure.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:
