Description Job Description:The Leidos Security Enterprise Solutions (SES) Operation seeks a Commercial Operations Manager with a demonstrated history of program execution and product delivery into government and commercial environments. This Commercial Operations Manager will have the proven ability to manage the Order to Remittance (OTR) process by developing and implementing operational efficiencies to streamline and manage order fulfillment. - The preference is for this individual to be local to the Vista CA office location. Leidos is positioned to address emerging and evolving threats through rapid development of innovative solutions for our global customers. Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the SES Ports & Borders division delivers on current and future customer orders.
  • Build & operate Risk Review sessions to drive early engagement, strategy development and approvals with region & product teams as well as Operations, and supporting functions (legal, finance, tax, EHS, etc), ensuring leadership alignment at all levels to obtain necessary decisions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure seamless hand-over of POs/signed contracts to OTR
  • Support and drive change management process to challenge current commercial processes, in order to reduce cycle times & costs, improve service quality & mitigation plans and define the appropriate pricing and commercial strategy
  • Maintain knowledge of market trends, customer requirements, competitor actions and customer base; interface with internal and external customers, identify customer needs
  • Interface with all functions across region and products such as Sales, Tendering/units, Legal, Commercial Finance & OTR teams to enhance successful commercial strategies and solutions.
  • Ensure performance & effectiveness measurement through appropriate support of OTR teams, by applying KPIs and by challenging risk/opportunity assessment & mitigation strategies (e.g. based on trend analysis, proposal post-mortems & customer feedback).
  • Use a variety of inputs (salesforce, campaign tools, funnel reviews, etc.) to create and manage a dashboard that captures and reports on commercial team performance (marketing and sales).
  • Reporting and dashboards must strike a balance between clarity for executive leadership and insight delivery that drives week-over-week optimization and improvement. Basic Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal, Engineering or related area from an accredited university or college
    • At least 8 or more years of experience in Commercial Operations, contract management, sales, tendering, bid management and/or project management role -
    • Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time, both domestic and internationally.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a US public trust security clearance. Preferred Qualifications
