worldwide. We are looking for a sophisticated, dynamic,
---roll-up-the-sleeves--- type CFO with extensive experience in
manufacturing to drive our financial performance and lead critical
functions of our organization. Duties And Responsibilities Develops
and executes an optimized financial strategy for the Company, in
alignment with business objectives. -- Provides both budget and
business forecasts in support of Company growth plans. --
Collaborates with other executives to execute on the annual
business planning process. -- Provides advice and guidance to
business leaders regarding financial strategies of business
operations and planning. -- Develops and utilizes pro-forma
modeling and forecasting tools to provide insight into Company
operations, business plans, and initiatives. -- Ensures proper
tools, metrics, policies and procedures are in place to facilitate
achievement of financial strategy. -- Oversees analysis of Company
operations to identify cost savings opportunities. Proposes
initiatives that promote efficiency and/or effectiveness. --
Oversees the Human Resource and Information Technology functions,
and leads the Company---s efforts in such areas as information
security, data and digital transformation. Ensures timely and
accurate budgeting and financial analysis is conducted and provides
statutory, GAAP and tax reporting for all units across the Company.
-- Oversees all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems, ensuring
compliance with GAAP, Statutory Accounting Principles and FASB
rules. -- Leads the Company---s annual budgeting and planning
process and ensures that proper periodic review and reporting is
conducted in the business units. -- Provides regular reporting to
the Company Board of Directors, Lender, and CEO and provides
expertise in interpretation and analysis of results. -- Develops
and maintains capital budget. -- Maintains internal control
safeguards and coordinates all audit activities. -- Oversees all
tax liability ensuring that returns are filed completely,
accurately and timely and all tax obligations are properly managed.
-- Ensures regulatory and legal compliance for all finance, human
resources, information technology, and accounting functions.
Directs Corporate Treasury activities with consideration for risk
and liquidity. -- Oversees the capital structure including the
ratio of debt, equity and overall balance sheet structure. --
Manages the organization---s cash position ensuring a reliable cash
flow projection process and proper reporting and controls are in
place. and cash is available as needed and maximized. -- Maintains
positive relationships with banking and other financial vendors and
initiates proper strategies to enhance cash positions. Develops and
leads Finance team and manages the Finance Department in its daily
operations. -- Provides day to day, hands-on direction to
approximately 10 direct Finance, Information Technology, and Human
Resources Departments reports, including China. -- Establishes and
maintains the overall work cadence, ensuring excellence in delivery
and customer experience. Promotes team engagement, encouraging
development, recognition and retention of staff. -- Establishes and
holds managers accountable to hiring criteria, on-boarding and
training requirements for incoming staff. -- Oversees the
performance management and development process for the department.
-- Acts as a resource for Finance leaders and team members to
answer questions and solve complex problems. -- Manages department
budget, technology and other resources, workload and customer
requests for Finance, IT, and HR. Ensures adherence to all Company
policies and procedures and compliance responsibilities. Oversees
the investment and other financial activities of the Company --
Leads the Company---s M&A activities, in coordination with
Company---s private equity partner, including target
identification, financial modeling, and legal and financial due
diligence. -- Works with private equity partner and financial
institutions to raise capital as required for expansion. Serves as
a Leader and Role Model in the Company -- Develops a strong fiscal
framework and infrastructure for disciplined execution. --
Champions fiscal responsibility and promotes financial discipline
across the Company. -- Communicates Mission, Values and other
organization operating principles to direct and indirect reports.
-- Provides leadership and/or sponsorship for cross-company
projects and initiatives. Education And Experience Undergraduate
degree in finance or accounting with a CPA (preferably with MBA)
required. Extensive background in manufacturing and international
operations strongly preferred. An accomplished manufacturing
finance professional with a career demonstrating increasing
responsibility as a senior financial leader, typically with 15 or
more years of relevant experience. Highly effective in strategic
development, controls and systems, corporate finance, and treasury
activities. Solid working knowledge of statutory accounting rules,
GAAP and other legal requirements (e.g., FASB, IRS, etc.) as they
pertain to manufacturing and international manufacturing
operations. Strong background in industrial cost accounting.
Demonstrated leadership ability at the senior level in an
organization with strong sense of urgency and drive. Successful
track record of executing on major initiatives and as a major
contributor to the senior management team of the Company. Knowledge
And Skills Highly developed financial skill sets in the areas of
financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, as well as financial
systems and reporting. Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft
Dynamics GP, and/or other ERP applications is a must. Strong
mastery of cost accounting, international operations, intercompany
transactions, and foreign currency issues. Highly credible and
effective people manager and organizational champion, with strong
collaboration skills. Excellent communication and presentation
skills, combined with outstanding interpersonal skills. Must
demonstrate a strong sense of integrity and commitment to ethical
behavior and be able to hold others accountable to those standards.
Compensation -- Earthlite offers this position competitive
compensation including base salary, an executive performance bonus
plan, medical, dental, and 401k benefit plans, and equity incentive
options. Location & Travel -- This full-time position is located at
Earthlite---s Vista, California headquarters. A modest amount of
travel is required, including travel to the Company---s China and
Illinois operations.
