Job Description:

Our client, a specialty headwear and accessory merchandise retailer, is looking for a Content Manager that has the ability to think as a creative and as a producer. The ideal candidate is someone who can transmit the Creative Director s vision to external partners effectively and also someone who can think critically and creatively on their own in order to execute projects. This person will have years of experience working in a high-paced commercial production background or working in content for a relevant brand.

This is a remote position based in either Los Angeles, CA or Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities:
Leadership
Bring in, diversify, and expand the brand s freelancer network and vendor partners across all mediums.
Lead collaboration with external production partners, including producers, photographers, videographers, editors, and animators.
Be an outstanding contributor to the team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Regular reporting to key stakeholders on all high priority development and production budgets, schedules, and delivery.
Production
Oversee the development and successful execution of all social content, varying in size from small to large scale projects and in mediums from photography to video to animation.
Understand the realities of production with strong creative ideas, ensuring the proper balance of pushing the envelope and feasibility during the ideation and planning stage.
Generate estimates and resource planning to anticipate team bandwidth, length of allocation, etc. for each project
Experience overseeing multiple projects and maintaining a high level of attention to detail to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Closely monitor the collection calendar and Monday.com to stay well informed and ahead of schedule.
Creative Alignment
Work closely with the Creative Director to conceptualize, plan and execute content that provokes engagement.
Present creative ideas clearly to internal team-members and external partners.
Ability to provide creative feedback to external partners across various projects (ie. photographers, video editors, animators, etc.) and deliver updates/selection to the Creative Director.
Strong grasp of and interest in the latest technology, digital content and social media trends and fluency in working with ad agencies, media companies, production companies, and freelancers.

MULTI -TASKING SKILLS: You will be working across multiple projects, whilst all very similar, have differing objectives, requirements, and timelines. You are highly motivated, energetic and you must be able to dedicate sufficient time to each task, have the ability to multi-task and adhere to strict deadlines, all whilst collaborating with the appropriate people.
EXCELLENT COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS: Working closely with many teams both internal and external you will possess strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively deliver the right message, ensuring company brand values and image is applied. You will have a knack for connecting with the community and cities in ways that tell the brand s story and believe that creativity comes from collaboration and from teams with diverse points of view and backgrounds.
Requirements:
Proven experience ideating, pitching and producing photo, video, and animated content on projects with budgets of at least $30k.
Must have a relevant creative network.
Fluency across Instagram, Tik-Tok, Discord, Twitch, and YouTube.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator).
Travel 30%.
