Job Description:

The Assistant Project Manager provides overall administrative and construction support for multiple projects for our Project Management Team. Essential Functions: Review project plans, bid documents and proposals Preparing Submittals Writing Subcontracts and Purchase Orders Preparing RFI's Assist and collaborate with Project Manager and field personnel (Superintendent & Foremen) Assist in conducting project meetings & setting milestones Assist in managing the close out process Order materials and coordinate deliveries Set up and maintain all job-site records, including project directory, submittal logs, RFI Logs, subcontractor correspondence, etc. Assume total project supervision responsibilities in Project Manager's absence. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those listed above.

Requirements

Knowledge & Skills:Minimum 2 years' experience in construction industry.Associates Degree preferable.Proficient in using a computer and the below listed programs:Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).Ability to read blue prints.Must have strong organization and time management skills, and the ability to self-motivate.Ability to multi-task under time constraints and working effectively as a team player in a professional office environment.Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.Problem analysis and problem solving skills.Tactful, professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with managers, employees, vendors and others.
