Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/07/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings Employment Type: Travel Position Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Shift: Day Shift, 07:30–18:00 Call: Preferred availability for days/weekends Float: N/A Unit Overview: Team: 16 IR Techs, 1 Imaging Assistant Patient Volume: 6–10 cases/day (2nd floor); 10/day (1st floor) Equipment: Philips Clarity Bi-Plane, Siemens Icono EMR: Merge Hemodynamic Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic-quality imaging using proper technique and safety standards Assist radiologists during IR procedures Administer oral contrast as required Maintain equipment, supplies, and ensure infection control practices Use PACS, RIS, HIS systems and follow HIPAA standards Provide care to all patient age groups and support department operations Requirements (Must-Have): BLS Certification ARRT Certified California CRT & Fluoroscopy License Preferred: CVT License Ideal Candidate: Flexible with schedule Strong communication and teamwork Committed to patient safety and service excellence Unit Policies: Clock In/Out, Lunch, Overtime: Follow department procedure; OT requires manager approval Call-outs/Injuries: Report directly to supervisor/manager Dress Code: Hospital-issued OR scrubs Cancellations: Require 2 weeks’ notice No block scheduling or missed shifts allowed About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
