Description Senior Radiation Therapist at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is Part time and will work 8-hour, Day shift. Responsible for assisting the manager by ensuring adequate flow of patient care through the Radiation Oncology department. Identifies and solves patient problems, contributes to self-development and leadership by teaching and supervising co-workers and students. This position requires the ability to interact with other departments within the Cancer Center. Collaborates with others and seeks direction from supervisor or others as needed. Required Qualifications: • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. • Upon hire: California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification, or • Upon hire: California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiation Therapy • 2 years Radiation Therapist experience in a clinical setting. Preferred Qualifications: • 2 years experience in a fast paced Radiation Oncology department. Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
