Position Summary We are currently looking for a Traveling Associate Dentist to become part of our expanding team. Participate in morning meetings (you can even lead one!), organize your day, express appreciation to your team, and highlight outstanding examples of customer service, teamwork, and goal achievement. Enjoy working with children, who represent 70% or more of our patient demographic. Key Responsibilities Deliver dental services to patients with the support of your team. Uphold the highest standards of integrity by complying with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and compliance programs. Perform additional duties as assigned. Practice Features DentaPro software for efficient practice management. Digital x-ray and Panorex systems. Fiber-optic handpieces for enhanced patient care. Annual training in OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management. Team structure: 1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, and 2 dental assistants per provider. Patient demographics: primarily ages 3-21, with up to 30% adult patients depending on location. Office flow: an average of 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients. Insurance mix includes state plans, PPO, and out-of-network payors. Qualifications We are looking for candidates who possess: A DDS/DMD degree from a dental program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. A current, valid dental license in the states where care will be provided or eligibility for licensure. Required certifications, including CPR and DEA. Nitrous Oxide certification (applicable in LA, MS, DC, TX, MA). A compassionate nature and a strong commitment to providing dental care to both children and adults. A willingness to travel to various offices, including New Orleans-Gentilly, New Orleans-Metairie, New Orleans-Gretna, Baton Rouge, and Hattiesburg/Biloxi, MS.
