Job Description Clinical Laboratory Scientist II (CLS II) – Night Shift | Traveler San Dimas, CA 91773 Night Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM (8-hour shifts) Contract: Jan 26, 2026 Travel Pay: Upto $50/hr. blended Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist II (Traveler) for an 8-hour night shift assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong acute-care laboratory experience and be comfortable working independently across multiple lab disciplines. Key Responsibilities Accurately review, verify, and report patient test results Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments (daily/weekly/monthly maintenance) Adhere to quality control, CLIA, and hospital regulatory standards Identify and resolve testing issues or escalate appropriately Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures (newborns to geriatrics, as needed) May function as Lead Tech during shift in absence of supervisor Assist with LIS and/or Point-of-Care (POC) responsibilities Follow all safety, infection control, and hospital policies Work every other weekend night shift Requirements California CLS License with MTA prefix (Required) ASCP Certification or equivalent (Required) Minimum 2 years of hospital laboratory experience Bachelor’s degree in: Clinical Laboratory Science Medical Technology Chemical, Biological, or Physical Sciences (CLIA-compliant) Strong independent judgment and technical competency Prior traveler experience preferred Assignment Details Job Type: Traveler | Long-Term Assignment Department: Clinical Laboratory Location: 1350 West Covina Blvd, San Dimas, CA 91773 On-call: No Interested or know someone who’d be a great fit?
