License: Must have an active state license upon submission.
Certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Previous charge
experience preferred. Description: Start time will be flexible
based on staffing needs. Availability for on-call duties is
required. Patient ratio experience is beneficial. Charting system
experience is preferred, with Epic as the desired system.
Experience in inpatient and outpatient Interventional Radiology is
required. Nursing staff are required to be ACLS certified and
sedation certified; PALS certification is preferred. Daily census
is expected to be around 30 patients. The unit operates Monday
through Friday, and call coverage is required for nights, weekends,
and holidays. Candidates will float within the facility or to
affiliate facilities based on census and unit requirements.
Essential skills include procedural sedation administration,
infection prevention, and monitoring procedural sedation. Employees
must adhere to safety protocols, including wearing lead aprons and
sterile protective gear during procedures. Hard stop for candidates
without necessary interventional radiology experience. References
from two managers are required. Background checks will be conducted
prior to hiring. Candidates must have been gone for one year to
return as a traveler. Modules are non-billable and include required
