Job Description Job Description Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Gastroenterology Department Assignment Duration: Through 2025 Locations: Garfield, San Marcos, and Otay Mesa (Must be willing to work at all sites) Certification Requirement: IV Certification Required Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support our Gastroenterology Department through 2025. This role is critical to the safe and efficient intake of patients undergoing sedated procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality care across multiple locations. Primary Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive patient intake for sedated procedures Obtain and document accurate health histories Initiate and manage IV access Review and reconcile patient medications Collaborate with physicians and RNs to ensure patient readiness and safety Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with department and regulatory standards Travel between assigned locations (Garfield, San Marcos, Otay Mesa) as needed Required Qualifications: Active California LVN license Current IV Certification Minimum of 1 year of LVN experience in a clinical setting (GI or procedural experience preferred) Reliable transportation and willingness to commute to all designated locations Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, procedural environments Company Description Nursefinders Staffing Division offers employment opportunities with a stable, innovative company in Health Care Staffing, one of the fastest-growing sectors of health care.
