Join Sports Physical Therapy (SPT) as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing athletic performance and expediting recovery from sports-related injuries. Our specialized programs and expert guidance provide a unique therapeutic environment tailored to individual athletic needs. This role supports occupational therapists by implementing therapeutic plans and tracking patient progress in a collaborative and innovative setting. Assist occupational therapists in developing rehabilitation programs that cater specifically to athletes. Prepare and maintain equipment and facilities for therapy sessions. Execute specific components of the therapy plan under the supervision of an occupational therapist. Document patient responses to therapy and communicate outcomes to the supervising therapist. Educate patients on exercises intended for recovery and strength enhancement under guidance. Ensure compliance with clinic protocols and patient safety standards. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of sports-related injuries and therapeutic strategies. Competency in preparing and maintaining therapy equipment. 401k Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) required. CPR certification preferred.
