White Sands, a HumanGood life plan community (CCRC) in beautiful La Jolla, CA, is seeking a part-time Security Guard to join our team. Part-Time: NOC SHIFT Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. Pay Rate: $20.00-22.50 / hour To be successful in this role, you would have: Guard Card required High school diploma or equivalent Prior security guard experience required Job Duties: Provides effective and courteous service to all residents, guest and team members; Ensures community and grounds are secure by monitoring surveillance equipment; Patrols community on a regular basis throughout shift; Assists maintenance personnel in the event of an emergency; Provides high visibility and presence to assure residents of caution and care; Documents any unusual findings, completes incident reports as needed; Maintains radio contact with front desk; Responds to emergency radio calls; Follows procedures for emergencies including aiding and directing emergency vehicles and personnel as needed; Ensures any safety hazards are removed or corrected as needed; May respond to emergency alarms.
