Job Description:
*Objectives* - Oversee, refine and execute employee standards
and procedures, using and improving HR existing and recommended
systems and processes. - Maintain and enhance employee benefits
programs, including compensation, health insurance, expenses,
vacation, and other personnel packages - Assist with recruitment
efforts, and prepare employees for assignments by establishing and
conducting orientation and training programs - Ensure legal
compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and
state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining
records - Identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal
standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and
morale*Duties and Responsibilities: *Duties related to the position
may include but not limited to: (These are not in any hierarchical
order) - Prepares, inputs and maintain payroll, payroll reports,
updates information on system - Prepares, inputs and maintains
payroll reports per facility - Record, update and maintain employee
information, setup new hire employee files, data or changes and
forward to Vista HR/Payroll Team - Complete and process payroll on
a biweekly basis within deadlines - Process employee expense and
mileage reports - Complete and process payroll check request, final
checks or vacation, PSL request - Distribution of time cards to
managers and team leads for corrections. Enter corrections as
needed. - Review, verification and distribution of pay checks.
Investigate and communicate with the Vista team to resolve any
discrepancies related to payroll deductions. - May assist with
other reports or functions such headcount reports, Hours by
department etc. - Purchases supplies according to department needs.
- May assist with inventory. - Responsible for insuring all
communication from Vista HR team or Facility General Manager is
distributed to all employees in the facility - Communicate with
Managers, Supervisors and employees to resolve any employee issues
or complaints - Assist with the recruitment process to fill vacant
positions - Process new hire packets and conduct new hire
orientation, terminations and employee information changes -
Maintain current knowledge of company policies and procedures,
employee handbook, benefit plans and legal requirements to insure
reports are timely and facility is in compliance with all
regulations - Assist eligible employees to complete benefits
enrollment forms, respond to inquiries concerning benefits and
process enrollment forms - Complete all I9 and EEO forms. - Keep
benefits records up to date with plan participation such as health,
dental, vision, life, 401k plans, vacations (PTO), leave of
absence, etc. - Responsible for facilitating or coordinating other
trainings such as harassment prevention, heat illness, etc. -
Investigate or participate in the investigation of employees
complains, injuries, illnesses and near misses - Assist with
corrective actions and termination/exit interviews - Ensure
compliance with all leave of absences, Federal, State and Company
such as FMLA, CFRA (CA only), PDL (CA only), USERRA, PSL (CA only),
Paid Time Off. - Maintain current knowledge of company safety plan
and policies. Preparation and presentation of safety orientation
for both new hire and review - Order and track safety supplies or
personal protective equipment - Participate; facilitate safety
teams and safety topics on a monthly basis - Responsible for
organizing all aspect of the worker's compensation program at the
facility such as completing reports and investigation of
injuries/illnesses, filing claims, follow up status/progress
reports, ensure compliance with the Return to Work Program,
maintain monthly and annual reports - Assist with completing all
OSHA required forms - Assist in the coordination and implementation
of the Facility Safety Program, including employee training, usage
of all PPE as required and weekly inspections - Perform any other
work as requested by managerJob Type: Full-timePay: $58,000.00 -
