Do it here.What you'll be doing... Acting as the vRAN team lead
relating specifically to the Ericsson 5G RAN virtual application
during and post FOA, you will be providing input into FOA testing
and validation requirements. And be executing on Ericsson vCU & vDU
FOA deployments and upgrades. Specific responsibilities
include:
Leading activities to verify expected
alarms and KPIs.Providing feedback and input to internal and
external teams on automation, performance and issues.Developing and
presenting updates on the Ericsson vRAN application and FOA
status.Developing internal training and documentation to be for
with vRAN Assurance teams.Serving as SME for Ericsson vRAN
architecture, operations & performance.Serving as a technical
leader during troubleshooting events.Composing clear and concise
reports for system documentation.Collaborating with other teams to
achieve objectives.Where you'll be working...
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that
includes work from home and assigned office days set by your
manager.
What we're looking for... You're tech savvy, and proficient in all
things telecommunications. Working independently suits you well.
You're also detailed, vigilant, and on top of the details-someone
people count on to solve problems and to make sure they don't
happen in the first place.You'll need to have:
Associate's degree or two or more
years of work experience.Three or more years of relevant work
experience.Knowledge of cloud computing and virtual machine
concepts.Knowledge of 5G network architecture.Knowledge of Ericsson
ENM CLI and GUI applications.Willingness to work a flexible
schedule as needed.Even better if you have one or more of the
following:
A technical degree.Certifications
such as CCENT, CCNA or CCNP.Proficiency in deploying and operating
virtual RAN networks.Knowledge of data networking protocols
including TCP/IP, OSI, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, BFD, SIP and other LAN/WAN
protocols.Knowledge of data transmission facilities such as 1G and
10G native Ethernet and Ethernet Backhaul.Programming and computer
skills with emphasis on applications.Engineer leader of a team in
charge of application upgrades, troubleshooting and assisting with
growth of the network.Experience in Kubernetes, Openstack, Red Hat,
and Linux.Experience in scripting and automation skills.Familiarity
of the internal VZ tools used to support the existing virtual
networks that will also be needed for the Ericsson vRAN product.
KPI tools, alarming tools, IOP integration, and engagement with all
these teams will be critical for success.Unix/Linux
fundamentals.RedHat OS familiarity and Certifications are a
plus.Openstack, kubernetes, and Openshift Operating systems

hired into a California work location, the compensation range for
this position is between $81,000 and $172,000 based on a full-time
schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and
confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive
based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time
roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your
