Responsibilities Provide legal advice on labor and employment matters to ensure compliance. Draft and review employment contracts and policies for legal accuracy. Develop strategies to minimize legal risks in employment practices. Represent the company in employment-related legal proceedings and disputes. Monitor changes in employment law and update company policies accordingly. Set and achieve targets for legal counsel performance and success. Experience/Qualifications Qualifications : Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California Expertise in employment law, with focus on compliance and risk management. PAGA Wage and Hourly Law 7-10 years experience Experience with class actions. Experience taking and defending deposition including taking plaintiffs deposition and defending deposition of corporate witnesses Experience in employment counseling on federal and state employment laws and regulations. Proven ability to draft and review employment contracts and policies. Knowledge of current trends and changes in employment law. Proven track record in setting and achieving performance targets. Experience in representing organizations in employment-related legal proceedings. Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with HR and other departments. What's in it for you?
