Job Description Job Description Job Overview: Our client is seeking a 7 years experienced Public Law Attorney to join their Public Law practice, advising government clients on municipal, real estate, housing, and environmental law with direct client involvement. Roles and Responsibilities: Research and draft contracts, ordinances, resolutions, legal opinions, and real property instruments. Advise public agency staff and elected/appointed officials on municipal and public law matters. Handle matters related to Public Records Act, Brown Act, Public Contract Code, and public works construction. Provide guidance on real property, development, entitlements, housing legislation, and density bonus law. Collaborate on high-profile projects across Orange County and Southern California, supporting client goals. Qualifications: 7 years of experience in public or private sector public law. Knowledge of Public Records Act, Brown Act, Public Contract Code, and California Housing Legislation. Experience with real property, development, entitlements, and public works construction. Strong research, drafting, and advisory skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a professional, fun, and mentorship-oriented environment. Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary: $160,000-$225,000 depending on experience and work complexity. Remote work flexibility for several days per week.
