Position Summary This position's primary responsibility is to maintain a clean and well represented work and guest environment. The upkeep of the showroom, bathrooms, offices, parking lot and warehouse are a vital part of daily duties and are a crucial ingredient of giving every guest an experience that is consistent with the Living Spaces brand. This position also has responsibility for executing all floor prep and warehouse functions. It also has responsibility for all functions of Customer Pick Up, including creating great guest service in CPU. This is accomplished by executing floor moves, managing product flow and warehouse functions, delighting guests in CPU according to Living Spaces brand expectations. Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to janitorial cleaning, empty trash, dusting and mopping, vacuuming, general office cleaning, carpet cleaning and hard surface floor cleaning. --- Clean building carpeted floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming. --- Gather and empty restroom, food and other trash. --- Service, clean, and supply restrooms. --- Clean windows, glass, partitions, and mirrors. --- Operate equipment including scrubbers, pressure washer and carpet extractor. --- Assist customers, vendors, contractors, employees, members of management in a friendly and engaging manner when requested to do so. --- Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety. --- Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled Maintains a clean free from debris warehouse floor. --- Accomplishes customer service and organization mission by completing related results as needed. --- Meet company standards for productivity Qualifications Education & Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Two years of retail experience in a "Big Box" establishment preferred; Supervisory experience required. Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Certifications & Licenses: N/A Qualifications: Demonstrates key Talent behaviors (Capacity, Commitment, Coachability, Self-Assess, Collaborate, and Self-Initiate); Ability to read, write, and speak English; Ability to work well in a team environment; Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment and adapt to the changing needs of the business; Ability to work flexible retail hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
