Summary Of Duties: The purpose of a School Support Secretary II is to provide secretarial support to an assigned administrator(s) and secondary or alternative school site; provide information regarding site functions and procedures; establish and maintain records; compile and distribute materials, records, and reports; respond to inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources. *Some positions require the ability to communicate, both orally and written, in the Spanish language. Candidates who are able demonstrate this skill set will be considered first.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A typical qualifying background would include any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school, three (3) years of increasingly responsible clerical experience and type/keyboard at an acceptable rate of speed. All properly completed applications will be reviewed and the most appropriately qualified individuals will be invited to continue in the selection process. The process may consist of an evaluation and scoring of application materials, written testing, oral interview and/or performance test to evaluate the applicant's skill, training and experience. The EdJoin system will time-out after a 20 minute period of perceived inactivity. Your responses to the supplemental questions are limited to 5,000 characters. A completed on-line application is required of all applicants to be considered for this opening.
