professionals with a desire to invoke positive change in the lives
of young children and their families through a rewarding position
in Early Intervention.We are hiring a full time BCBA to supervise
the Autism Division our brand new, state-of-the-art outpatient
pediatric center located in Vista. The new center is scheduled to
open in early June.The Sunny Days Sunshine Center offers children
and their families a place for developmental services and Autism
Spectrum Disorder (ASD) therapy. A new, one-of-a-kind center
designed to promote positive behavior, increase quality of life,
and enable individuality; the Sunshine Center embraces each child
and their individual needs. The Sunshine Center is dedicated to
children of all ages who may be experiencing challenges with
learning, social skills, sensory processing, speech/language
difficulties and/or motor development.Main Functions:Supervise the
overall day to day operations pertaining to the Autism division at
the Center, oversee social skills and minicamp, responsible for
program book maintenance, parent training pertaining to ABA,
conduct initial and ongoing evaluations for ABA clients, overseeing
therapists and staff, training therapists and staff, parent tours
for Autism divisionDuties and Responsibilities:Supervise the
overall day to day operations pertaining to the Autism Division at
the Center you are assignedConduct initial evaluation for ABA
clientsWrite reports for initial evaluation and ongoing evaluations
for ABA clients that fulfill insurance requirementsAssist BCBA's
with design, review, and making necessary changes to ABA program
booksAssist ABA therapists/BCBA's with developing ongoing goals,
tracking data, graphing, conducting ABLLS-R/VB-MAPP assessments
etc.Put together, organize, and oversee social skills classes and
mini camps (including recruiting kids and assigning them into the
correct classes)Provide webinar trainings and hands on trainings on
various topics pertaining to Autism and ABAProvide support/training
to ABA therapists/BCBA's providing autism services to facilitate
problem resolutionPlans/creates/conducts on-going trainings and
training materials for parent trainingsAssist ABA scheduler with
ensuring the ABA therapist is an appropriate match for the child
and that the team is being connectedSends ABA scheduler the cases
that need to be staffed for both ABA therapists an BCBA'sOngoing
communication with ABA scheduler to ensure cases are being staffed
and the wait list is correct and updatedEnsure compliance with BACB
and insurance company regulationsResponsible for conducting initial
training for ABA Therapists and BCBA's (setting them up with 2
observation hours, then giving them the assessment etc.)Provide
parent tours for potential new clients that are seeking Autism
servicesProvide oversight to BCBA/BCaBA candidatesSupervise all ABA
therapists and BCBA'sMonitor the BCBA's to ensure they are turning
in their insurance authorization documents in a timely mannerPoint
of first contact for Autism division families in regards to
questions, comments, or concernsWill need to be credentialed with
insurance companiesAssist with issues pertaining to insurance
authorizationsComplete therapist best practice monitoring forms on
both ABA therapists and BCBA'sResponsible for ensuring our
philosophy is being followed, and that all of the children are
receiving the most quality autism servicesProvide monthly BCBA
group supervision meetingEnsure compliance with BACB and insurance
company regulationsMinimal travel may be requiredWill need to get
the BACB supervisory certificatePerform other duties as
assigned/requiredExperience/Qualifications/ Education:Masters and
BCBA or higher3+ years working with children with autismPrior
supervision experience preferredKnowledge and experience
implementing the principles of applied behavior
analysisSkills:Basic computer literacy of Word, Excel, Outlook,
ACCESSGood verbal and written communication skills.Strong
organizational and time management skillsAbility to function
