Job Description:
Do you have 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience? Staffmark
is hiring a Accounts Payable Specialist to work for our client in
Vista, CA. - The Accounts Payables Specialist is responsible for
timely and accurate entry of accounts payable transactions.
Accounts Payable transactions include the processing of vendor
invoices, expense reports and similar expenses. - ESSENTIAL DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Ensure correct coding of all invoices. High
volume invoice processing. 2. 3-way matching. 3. Set up new vendor
accounts. 4. Obtain 1099's. 5. Reconciling new accounts 7. Respond
to vendor inquiries. 8. Assist with weekly check run. 9. Perform
general administrative tasks/ special projects as needed. SKILLS
AND QUALIFICATIONS 1. Must be computer literate, i.e., accounting
software, MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with
Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains software strongly preferred, but
not required. 2. Minimum of two years' experience in accounts
payable. Must have experience with 3-way matching. Working in a
manufacturing or construction environment helpful. 3. Knowledge of
general account principles helpful. 4. Excellent verbal
communications skills and good phone skills. 5. Must be organized
and detailed-oriented with the ability to multi-task. 6. Ability to
follow up on pending issues and meet deadlines. 7. Ability to
interact with vendors on levels of personnel in a professional
manner. 10. Typing ability and use 10-key by touch. 11. Ability to
work in a high volume and fast paced environment dealing with
