You have broad knowledge of how pumps, filters, steam boilers, and chillers work, and are able to troubleshoot when problems arise. You have a flexible schedule and can work first, second or third shift depending on business needs. You're attentive to detail, ensuring that measurement and mixing of raw materials is accurate, and that batch records are completed in a timely manner.Your duties will include to:Operate vegetable oil refining, bleaching, and deodorization production processesTake samples and analyze them using in-house lab equipmentRecord batching and testing information in a consistent and accurate mannerUse modern programmatic industrial controls to operate and monitor refining processesUse modern industrial controls to saponify vegetable oils and dry the slurry into bar noodles for in-house pressing operationOffload raw materials into their dedicated storage receptacles, keeping track of inventoryCarry out housekeeping duties ensuring a safe and clean workspace is maintainedPerform minor maintenance and repair assignments as directed, requiring the knowledge and familiar use of hand and electrical toolsUnderstanding of and demonstrated ability in industrial controls and processesAbility to enter data into the proprietary computer systemRelative job experience in refining or similar operations with typical industrial equipment associated with a production facilityForklift operator certified
