Job DescriptionPatient homes located in: VistaMake a difference

Autism, Come Join Our Team!!Starting range for this position is
$20-26 per hour!Available Shifts: 3pm - 8 pmAdditional compensation
for individuals with ABA experience!With BHW you have an
opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and their
families. We train our technicians how to effectively work one on
one with children diagnosed with Autism. We'll teach you ABA
(Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy techniques in our two-week paid
training program. At the end of training, you will test for your
RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification to ensure you
are prepared to enter the field and impact a child's life.Once in
the field as a behavior technician, you will work one on one in the
homes of our children providing them with services tailored to
their individual treatment plan. Visits include working with the
child in the home on:
- playtime activities
- social cueing and interactions
- developing eye contact strategies
- creating daily tools and structure
- building relationships to create progress in the life of the
child.You'll have support every step of the way as we all strive to
assist in the child's growth.This is a part time position offering
12 – 20 hours per week within the core hours of 3-8 pm. Many of our
children are of school age; so, it is important that you are
available when they are.Role Qualifications:
- Enrolled in undergraduate program in psychology, education, or
related field with 6 months experience with children with autism or
developmental disabilities (camp counselor, church volunteer,
babysitter, childcare, etc.) OR Bachelor's Degree in psychology,
sociology, education, or related field with 6 months experience
with children with autism or developmental disabilities
- Energetic people with a commitment to help children and
families
- A drive to be part of an important field of care with a growing
organization
- Vaccinations for MMR and COVID are required as well as a fit
for duty assessment and TB testBenefits:
