Patient Care Coordinator Senior -you will interact with patients
and their family members, healthcare providers, insurance

The successful candidate will demonstrate effective customer
service and communication skills. Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-
5pm Primary Responsibilities:
- Assists patient with intake or admitting processes including
copying required documents
- Responsible for scheduling surgeries/procedures for providers
at the hospital or office
- Assist with projects (project management), audits, and training

- Collects, records and balances payments
- Answers phones and schedules appointments
- Manages medical records (maintains, files / scans, prepares for
schedule)
- Ensures all correspondence is scanned and / or filed in timely
manner
- Processes requests for medical records release and maintains
appropriate logs, etc.
- Manage and submit daily request for referrals/authorizations in
a timely manner
- Assist physicians, as required in coordination of care for
patients
- Review details and expectations about referrals with the
patients
- Provides high quality care and service excellence to our
patients
- Participates in a variety of department initiatives
- Ensures all OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulations are followed.
Maintains strict patient and employee confidentiality

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 2+ years of experience in a medical setting
- 1+ year of -experience with data entry and -tracking metrics,
implementing and managing processes, promoting process improvement,
inventory control and reporting skills
- 1+ year of ICD 10 and CPT coding experience
- Intermediate level proficiency -with Microsoft Office
products
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this
role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster
doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth

range for California residents is -$18.80 to $36.78. Pay is based
on several factors including but not limited to education, work
