Job Description:
Job Description Warehouse- --- Compares identifying information
and counts of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information
against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. ---
Sorts and places products on racks, shelves, or in bins according
to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or
product code. --- Reads customer order, work order, shipping order,
or requisition to determine items to be gathered, moved, or
distributed. --- Obtains products from warehouse shelves and
fulfills orders. Carefully identifies information and quantities.
--- Inserts products into containers. Affixes shipping labels and
shipping instructions onto packages and crates or containers. ---
Processes domestic shipments. Determines method of shipment using
UPS, FedEX, DHL, and other shipping companies. Processes
international shipments using UPS Worldship Software. --- Unpacks
and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records
shortages. --- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet
specifications. --- Processes HAZMAT orders. --- Processes orders
for trade shows. Performs minor maintenance on crates and other
packaging for trade shows. --- Process RTS items. --- Tracks
product inventory and informs manager of low inventory levels.
Stocks inventory. --- Responsible for rotating merchandise with
expiration dates, both refrigerated and shelved. --- Sorts and
stores perishable goods in refrigerator. Responsible for
refrigerator maintenance and records refrigerator temperature
