PLEASE APPLY DIRECTLY THROUGH OUR INTERNAL WORKDAY CAREER SITE.Join Our Community of Food People!-In the case of a vehicle accident or driver injury the dispatcher must notify the manger / supervisor in charge and the safety specialist ASAP.-Coordinate driver activities to resolve service issues. The main objective is to verify that the customer's needs are met in a prompt and professional manner. -Coordinate driver activities to minimize hours of service violations.-Verify that drivers are using Omnitracs properly.-Assign backhauls as needed to be done in the most efficient manner possible.-Coordinate trailer and tractor assignments.-Communicate to the sales force and operations management if there are any concerns regarding service issues that may arise in the event of a late dispatch, break down or other service failure.-Reassign routes as needed.-Visually inspect each driver's appearance to verify that drivers are in proper uniform and have required PPE.(-Coordinate shuttle assignments to minimize downtime and overtime.-Complete Attendance Reports.-Distribute intercompany mail to sales force.-Other duties as assigned by management.
